Hello Beasley Jaguars,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year.  Our regular school hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.  Please make it a habit to arrive to school on time daily.  This is very important for many reasons.  Students are asked to arrive between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 as we do not provide supervision of students before this time.  If you are in need of before or after school care for your child, we offer service via our campus satellite YMCA program at 314-849-4668.  Students are counted tardy when the bell rings at 8:00.

We will dismiss buses promptly at 2:50 p.m. in our front circle drive and we encourage parents to pick up in our parent pick up line behind the school library. Bus Route information can be found here.    If you have concerns about your bus route, please call 314-467-5240 and our transportation department will be happy to help with solutions.

Grades 3-5 will move to Plan B (Blended learning with staggered attendance) on Tuesday, October 6.

What this means for your family

For families with children in third through fifth grade who are in on-campus instruction (currently Plan C):
•       Students (grades 3-5) whose last name starts with A-K will attend in-person classes at their elementary schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020. Students (grades 3-5) whose last name starts with L-Z attend in-person classes on Wednesdays and Fridays starting on Oct. 7, 2020.
•       Families who have students with different last names are grouped by the last name of their oldest child.
•       All students participate in virtual instruction on Mondays.
•       Transportation will be provided. Bus routes are available on our website.
•       Families must review the COVID-19 symptom checker and ensure their children are symptom free before sending them to school.
•       All students must wear a mask while on the bus and at school, per the county health department’s mandate. Mask breaks will be allowed when appropriate and it is safe to do so.

Families with students in Grades K-2 will continue in Plan B: Blended.

Thanks for your continued cooperation and support.

Your Partner in Education,
Mrs. Deane
